Diarrhoea is a symptom complex that is not always easy to treat in all animal species. The causes are manifold. This has also led to a rather wild combination that would make a classical homeopath's hair stand on end. Nevertheless, the combination has proven itself over 15 years. It would be too much to claim that every diarrhoea could be stopped with it. However, in animals, especially calves, from the age of four weeks onwards, a rapid improvement can almost always be achieved. In calves younger than three to four weeks, additional therapy with electrolytes is a mandatory measure. Depending on the severity of the exsiccosis, this can be administered by mouth or as an infusion. Especially in the case of cryptospori- dia, the remedy can help as an accompanying measure. However, the main therapeutic measure for cryptosporidia is the use of a herd-specific nosode for the treatment of heavily pregnant dams.
